Absolutely wonderful brunch place on the way to Cataract Gorge in Launceston. Coming from Melbourne and having high standards for brunch, I was a little doubtful about what a brunch in Tasmania would be like. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised.

The interior is super modern and really nice. The upstairs has a little grocer/gift store as well which sells all sorts or cool things from cured meats, relishes, ceramic bowls, jewellery, wooden goods and much, much more.

The views from this cafe are stunning as well and is the perfect stop for a nice big meal before spending the day hiking at the Gorge.

For 2 people on a Sunday at 10am, we had absolutely no issues getting a table. The staff were very tentative the entire time.

Between the 2 of us we ordered the eggs benedict and the red bowl (Chorizo, baked beans, poached eggs and potato).

The eggs benedict was really delicious with a yummy hollandaise sauce. This was really pleasing as hollandaise can make or break this dish.

The Red Bowl was ridiculously tasty! My mouth is drooling right now just thinking about it. Really how can you go wrong with the combinated or gooey eggs, chorizo, beans and carbs. All eggs were poached to perfection.

I can honestly say that this may even be better than a lot of brunch places within Melbourne and I have tried a lot of really good places. If you ever happen to pay Launceston a visit I would highly recommend stopping by. I am actually a little devastated that this cannot become a go to place for me.

Happy Brunching!
